The Rifle & Pistol Applications / Drills Course is built for shooters who already understand the basics and are ready to push performance to the next level. This is a high-repetition, drill-focused course designed to refine efficiency, increase speed, and maintain accountability under pressure.
Students will spend two full days working through structured, performance-based drills that directly improve real-world capability and competitive execution. The focus is on doing the fundamentals faster, cleaner, and more consistently—not just knowing them.

Performance Shooting
- Pushing speed while maintaining accuracy
- Visual processing and target focus at pace
- Recoil management for rapid follow-up shots
Target Transitions
- Eye speed vs. gun speed
- Efficient movement between targets
- Multiple target engagement with accountability
Rifle & Pistol Integration
- Seamless transitions between rifle and pistol
- Understanding when and why to transition
- Maintaining efficiency across weapon systems
Reloads & Gun Handling
- Emergency and proactive reloads at speed

Required Gear
Firearms
- Semi-automatic pistol (9mm recommended)
- Rifle/carbine (5.56/.223 or similar)
Support Gear
- Pistol holster (OWB preferred, must cover trigger guard)
- Minimum 3–5 pistol magazines
- Minimum 3–5 rifle magazines
- Magazine pouches (belt or chest rig)
- Sturdy belt or load-bearing setup
- Rifle sling (2-point preferred)
Safety & Comfort
- Eye & ear protection (mandatory)
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Closed-toe shoes/boots
- Hydration and food
Optional but Recommended
- Weapon-mounted light
- Knee pads
- Gloves
- Shot timer (if you have one)
- Note-taking material
Round Count (Approximate)
- Pistol: 600 – 800 rounds
- Rifle: 600 – 800 rounds
