Human Performance and Competitive Shooting: Cedar Creek Shooting Range

Human Performance 2-Day Rifle & Pistol Course

Built for Competitive Shooters

This course is designed to bridge the gap between technical shooting ability and true performance on demand. Built specifically for competitive shooters, this 2-day program focuses on maximizing efficiency, speed, and consistency under pressure using both rifle and pistol platforms.

Students will develop the ability to process visual information faster, transition efficiently, and execute at a higher level during stages. This is not a fundamentals course—it is a performance-driven environment focused on refining high-level skills and eliminating inefficiencies.

Training is centered around:

  • Vision & target acquisition speed
  • Predictive vs. reactive shooting
  • High-speed transitions (rifle ↔ pistol & target-to-target)
  • Movement efficiency and athletic entry/exit positions
  • Stage breakdown, planning, and execution
  • Recoil management at speed
  • Shooting on the move
  • Decision-making under time constraints

Students will be pushed to operate at uncomfortable speeds in order to expand their performance ceiling, while maintaining accountability and precision.
